The Wines!!

Naveran Brut $17.99
Naveran Brut Vintage is an estate-bottled vintage Cava that sells for a song! Proprietor Michel Guilleron Parellada's goal with this Cava is to show the purity, youth and bright flavor characters of the three indigenous grapes used to make it. Xarello contributes body, Macabeo gives aromatic intensity and Parellada lends acidity to the wine. Cavas are made utilizing the same methods used in Champagne and have remained Spain's best-kept secret for quality and value in wine.

Nortico Alvarinho $15.99
Ask anyone for the best Alvarinho in Portugal and people will point to the extreme north to the sub-region of Monc¸a~o and Melgac¸o, right on the border with Spain. Nortico Alvarinho is a superb example of the grape’s qualities: fresh-citrus, peach and tropical fruit aromas.

Torremon Tinto $13.99
Here, the fresh, red berried, mineral character of Ribera shows through, with a slightly spicy, minty note. This is one of only a few Ribera wines where you can taste the “cut” and chewy, juicy Tempranillo flavors unburdened by oak. A crisp fruited wine with structure and substance, it's neither light nor unduly heavy. This would pair well with Thai beef salad, marinated Korean BBQ pork, Peking duck and meat or chicken dishes with a piquant play of spices.

Zestos Old Vine Garnacha $12.99
Zestos has such a pleasing aspect and texture and such fresh, succulent red and dark berry aromas and fruit; it's a perfect introduction to Spanish wine. Put it next to any casual foods you care to: pizza, Panini sandwiches, pulled pork sliders, fajitas, cheese quesadillas, and pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. This is an “easy quaffer” wine, as well. If you don't have any aged manchego or aged Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese handy, just pour some in your glass and enjoy!

La Cartuja Priorat $18.99
This wine has enough “stuffing” and structure to pair well with BBQ beef brisket or pork, grilled Argentine beef, and mesquite grilled or smoked baby back pork ribs. It also has a freshness and spice character that is a good match for Cuban roast chicken, pork with Latin spices and cracked pepper turkey.
