The Wines!!

Shaw and Smith Sauvignon Blanc 2016 $20.99

James Halliday  top 100---For long accepted as the benchmark for Adelaide Hills sauvignon blanc, and you don't have to go past the bouquet to figure out why: just about every tropical fruit you can imagine is on display from custard apple at one extreme, kiwi fruit and green pineapple at the other . It all adds up to a complete wine made to be enjoyed until the queue forms for the next release.

Shakre Chardonnay 2015 Margaret River (sweet appellation) (Vinaceous) $16.99

Sourced entirely from un-irrigated old vine Mendoza clone Chardonnay from the premier subregion of Margaret River
bright, light and clean fruit aromas and flavours but with added textural complexity
Made from two components: the larger part (80%) was fermented in stainless steel tank at low temperature to preserve the delicacy and brightness of the primary fruit. The balance was fermented in French oak barriques to provide that essential palate complexity.. Bright, clean and more aromatic than usual, the Shakre entices you with its rich fruit and subtle oak nuances before enveloping the palate with spotless Chardonnay fruit and citrus notes. With textural mid palate weight, there’s more here than meets the eye, with a crisp clean acid dry finish that lingers on, and on and on.

Raconteur Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 (Vinaceous) $17.99

Classic  Margaret River cabernet; lush, rich and deep purple in color with bright hues, the aroma leaps from the glass with violets and black berry and mocha notes. Along with lip-smacking tannins and fine oak nuances, the 2015 Raconteur can easily be enjoyed on immediate opening or be cellared for up to 10 years and is absolutely a must with roast lamb, chargrilled rib-eye and/or array of cheeses; whatever your choice, the Raconteur will always entertain and command attention!

Snake Charmer Shiraz 2014 $17.99 (Vinaceous)

Handpicked and aged in 25% new  French and American oak 12-16 months – to make for a silken snake
Old vines giving depth of fruit. Exceptional depth - with perfumed, lifted berries and spice on the nose, intense black fruits, dark chocolate and mocha notes across the mid palate; wonderfully rich, and layered - finishes with soft, long and silky tannins and toasty oak nuances. Can be cellared for up to 8 years and a perfect accompaniment to char-grilled meats, pork & fennel sausages and American style BBQ’s.

Red Right Hand Blend (Vinaceous) $17.99
 100% Margaret River - Shiraz (66%), Grenache (23%) and Tempranillo (11%);
 Shiraz, full of colour, flavour and structure. Blended with Grenache, contributing its heady perfume and sweet fruit mid palate. Bringing the wine together is a small dollop of intense, savoury Tempranillo. Deep crimson red, bright and vibrant in hue. The bouquet is a complex mix of ripe berry fruits and savoury aromas. The palate displays rich and fruit sweet fullness with a complex and savoury textural finish of mature tannin.

Texas Beach (Beach found in Richmond and Mix made there too) Bloody Mary Mix
With most of the larger Bloody Mary companies, you have to doctor it up by adding Worcestershire sauce or peppers,” says Green. “We thought, ‘This is ridiculous, why not have a recipe that’s good right out of the bottle?"....
Thousands of bartenders are kicking themselves right now because Austin Green and Greg White got there first. While tending bar at various Richmond brunch spots, the pair noticed, “With most of the larger Bloody Mary companies, you have to doctor it up by adding Worcestershire sauce or peppers,” says Green. “We thought, ‘This is ridiculous, why not have a recipe that’s good right out of the bottle?’” And so, after bringing in a third partner, Rob Wooten, Texas Beach Bloody Mary Mix was born in 2014. “It’s more robust,” says Green of his mix. “There’s a savory aspect towards the front, thanks to cumin and turmeric. Then a subtle rising heat comes toward the end of the taste from chili hot sauce and fresh horseradish. We also incorporate two brines—a pickle brine made by Pasture chef Jason Alley and an olive brine I make myself.” The mix is now on the shelves of 40–50 Richmond restaurants and markets. Bloody brilliant.
