The Vineyard
The story of Foppiano Vineyards is a family epic full of tradition, perseverance and contributions to the history of Sonoma County and the wine industry. Founded in 1896 by Giovanni Foppiano, Foppiano Vineyards is one of Sonoma County’s oldest continually-operated, family-owned wineries. Our family has supplied northern California with wine for over a century, surviving Prohibition in the 1920s by selling home winemaking kits. We believe that through the strength of the family and a commitment to quality, our traditions can be maintained and thrive. We’re proud to be one of the founding members of the Russian River Valley AVA, and continue to enjoy the fruits of our hardworking Italian heritage. To stay on the cutting edge of quality winemaking, we’ve made important investments in infrastructure and winery equipment throughout the years. The vision of the fifth generation of Foppianos, together with Giovanni’s foresight to purchase land in the Russian River Valley, guides our family into the future while creating a world class wine program representative of our history.

The Wines!!
"Our premier location and foundation of core family values, has allowed us to produce quality wine for over 100 years. Since 1896, our sustainably-farmed vineyards have produced ripe, expressive fruit, enabling our award-winning wines to speak for themselves vintage after vintage. Our estate Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay vineyards thrive in the temperate climate of the Russian River Valley, an American Viticultural Area Louis J. Foppiano helped to establish."

Sauvignon Blanc $15.99
An invigorating wine with lively acidity and loads of citrus fruit. Aromas of green grass and lime give way to subtle flavors of dried apricot, vibrant Meyer lemon and lime zest on the palate. A refreshing, food friendly wine.

Chardonnay $29.99
Similar to the best Russian River Chardonnays, this wine has conspicuous aromas of apricot, pie crust and vanilla spice. The palate is balanced nicely with earthy mid pallet flavors and fresh fruit and cream in the finish. This is a multi-layered wine. It can be enjoyed slightly chilled before a meal or with any entree where a full bodied white wine is appropriate.

Pinot Noir Russian River Valley $39.99
California fruit with an old world austerity. Aromas of cherry and vanilla are complimented by cola, raspberry and caramel on the palate. A creamy mouth feel is accentuated by a long, lingering finish.

Lot 96 Red $15.99
Blueberries, dark chocolate and black cherry are the predominant aromatics with a touch of floral and spice. Smooth, fruity and very easygoing with ripe blackberry, plum, blueberry and cherry. Has supple tannins balanced with a strong backbone of acidity and fruit.

Petit Sirah Russian River Valley $24.99

Our signature bottling. Blackberry and dark chocolate aromas with a touch of anise and white pepper. This robust yet elegant wine is full-bodied with black cherry, blueberry, hints of toasted hazelnuts and sweet vanilla. Well-managed tannins produce a long, silky finish with luscious black fruits to the end.
