Jones Family Vineyards
We own the land. We plant the grapes. We make our own wine.

Jones of Washington is a family-owned winery, with vineyards located along the Columbia River in central Washington state. As one of the first families to farm these productive and scenic lands, we watch over our estate vineyards and world-class grapes as if they were a son or daughter. The same commitment is applied to our small-batch artisan wines, which receive the love and attention only people closely tied to the land can provide.

The Wines!!

Pinot Gris $16.99
This Estate Grown Pinot Gris is bright, crisp and clean. It has aromas of Anjou pear, lemon pith and green apple Jolly Rancher. On your palate you will find flavors of fresh slices of Granny Smith apple, white grapefruit, lemon and lime zest and a finish of zippy white grapefruit and white nectarine, which offers pleasing acidity and a soft mouth feel.

Chardonnay $18.99
This Chardonnay is complex with a rich and round mouth feel then finishes bright and clean.

Timbre Pinot Noir $23.99
Timbre is the “color” of musical sound. It’s how two voices express their individuality, even when singing the same note. When you hear Robert Plant, Amy Winehouse, or Nina Simone, you know who is singing, even if it’s a song you’ve never heard before. What makes a voice unique and recognizable is TIMBRE.

We source fruit from some of the best vineyards in Santa Barbara County and across the Central Coast, but we don’t own any of those vineyards, so what differentiates our wines from others sourced from the same vineyard sites? There are many factors, from picking decisions to fermentation, oak, when to rack, when to bottle as well as intangible, indescribable elements. The concept is that those intangibles have a big impact and, collectively, they make up the TIMBRE of our wines.

As a terroir-driven winery, we strive to make wines that are expressive of the places and times from which they came, but inevitably, as winemakers, we are channeling these vineyard sites through our own experiences and adding our own mark, our TIMBRE, on the resulting wines.

Cabernet Sauvignon $18.99
Our 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon displays expressive aromas of dark cherry, pomegranate with nuances of mocha and rose petal.

"The Dude" Red Blend $34.99
The 2014 growing season delivered our third exceptional vintage in a row, yielding wines with ideal concentration, elegant tannins and incredible varietal flavors. As with previous vintages, the grapes have been sourced from multiple growing regions with-in the Napa Valley, Including; Calistoga, Carneros, Rutherford, and Oak Knoll. We continue to focus on Bordeaux varietals from the Napa Valley. The 2014 “the dude” consists of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 27% Cab Franc, and 7% Petite Verdot.
