The Wines!!

Yulupa Chardonnay $13.99
Kenwood Vineyards Yulupa Chardonnay was created in the early 1990s to meet the growing demand for restaurant wine-by-the-glass listings. The wine is made in a pleasant, fruity style and pairs nicely with a wide range of foods. The vineyards used for the 2011 Yulupa Chardonnay were harvested in September after a cool summer that preserved the grapes’ natural acidity and fresh fruit flavors. Eighty percent of the juice was fermented in French oak and aged on the lees. Of these lots, 60 percent underwent malolactic fermentation. The remaining juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright, fresh fruit flavors balanced in this wine. -

Writers Block Grenache $18.99
A wonderfully light and pretty style Grenache, the model for this wine is more of a Southern Rhone or Gigondas, as opposed to something from parts of Spain or Australia. Red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry are prominent, with notes of citrus rind, followed by flavors of cranberry, cinnamon, and a slight white pepper spice on the finish. The wine is fermented for 21 days in stainless steel tank before being aged in French and Hungarian oak (15% new) for 10-12 months.

FOOD PAIRINGS
Great for a tapas night, Grenache also pairs perfectly with grilled, stewed and braised meats like, veal, pork, chicken and duck.

Yulupa Cabernet Sauvignon $14.99
Winemaker NotesAromas of plum and black cherry combine with aromatic notes of cocoa and fresh thyme accompanied by smooth and approachable tannins with an excellent finish. Kenwood Vineyards' Yulupa Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from select lots of wines with an emphasis on softness and drinkability. The grapes for this blend are primarily sourced from vineyards in California's Lodi and Clarksburg appellations.

The 2014 harvest provided fruit with well-structured tannins and complex character. Harvested in September and early October, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on a combination of French and American oak for 20 months. The final blend includes a touch of Merlot for added softness and complexity, resulting in a quaffable wine that is deep in color with rich flavor.
This delicious Cabernet Sauvignon enhances pork, beef and lamb, as well as pasta dishes.
Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot -

Writers Block Zinfandel $18.99
Somewhere in that balance between cool and hot climate zinfandel, this wine has both a fresh and vibrant aspect, as well as some richness, ripeness, and depth of flavor. Red and dark berry fruit combines with soft tannin, with a touch of herbal tea and spice.

FOOD PAIRINGS
This Zinfandel pairs nicely with grilled meats, or rich tomato based sauces, such as Bolognese. Very tasty with a Margherita pizza.
