The Wines!! Hughes Beaulieu

Domaine Bellevue Touraine Sauvignon $12.99
Golden yellow colored wine; the nose is clear, intense and complex. Main aromas: citrus fruits (orange, tangerine), exotic fruits (passion fruit, ripe pine apple). Few floral notes (lily of the valley) and pine sap. Wonderfully rich, with good length and freshness.

Domaine Bellevue Rose' $12.99
Full of fruit flavors (raspberries and cherries), crisp and refreshing. Great cherry aromas. The mouth is full and the finish is well structured and long. Great with spicy cuisine!

"FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE ( EXCELLENT +)
Crisp strawberry and raspberry flavors are at the front of this moderately priced rosé, then there’s a slightly bitter edge reminiscent of watermelon rind on the finish. Buy more than one bottle and drink up. Alcohol by volume: 12.5 percent."
The Washington Post

Domaine Reynaud Les Croix Crozes Hermitage 2014 $39.99
Plum/purple color that carries incense, barbecue smoke, roasted meat and blackberry characteristics. The tannins are sweet and a full-bodied, rich mouthfeel.

"Black raspberry, candied lavender, flowers and potpourri characteristics all emerge from Reynaud’s 2014 Crozes Hermitage les Croix. This nicely fruited, forward, charming effort has good freshness, solid mid-palate depth and plenty to love. Drink it over the coming 4-5 years." The Wine Advocate

CHATEAU DES EYRINS MARGAUX 2014
"Nicely focused, with a supple feel to the sanguine-tinged plum and red currant fruit. The finish lingers with an iron hint while staying gentle overall. Drink now through 2019. 1,200 cases made."
89 Points The Wine Spectator

?Valrvan old Vine Zinfandel $19.99
Layers of richness and complexity wrap around a core of wild strawberry and raspberry. Intoxicatingly aromatic with scents of mocha, espresso roast, violets and ripe red berries. Rich on the palate with flavors of framboise, blackberry compote, and hints of licorice-laced black pepper. Valravn shows the weight of top quality dry-farmed Zinfandel, balanced by a the freshness that is the hallmark of these ancient vines.

The Beers!! Heidi Kibirsky Pours

Against The Grain, Pile of Face IPA, 16 oz. 4-pack $17.99
Pours a clear amber with lots of fine sediment in suspension, fluffy white head that sticks around. Smell of biscuit and orange citrus hops dosed with stone fruit sweetness and dank melting-face-shaped green shag carpet. Spicy, mandarin, papaya, and resin; earthy and sugared dried stone fruit taste. Light-medium bodied, thins out mid-sip and finishes with lingering piney / grapefruit. ABV 6.5%, IBU 65

Two Roads, Two Juicy New England Style IPA, 16 oz. 4-pack  $16.99

92% RateBeer; 4.27 Outstanding Beer Advocate
an unfiltered, cloudy “New England style Double IPA” that uses generous amounts of Hallertauer Blanc, Citra & Mandarina Bavaria hops. The result is a “juicy”, fully-charged DIPA with notes of grapefruit, pine, lychee, orange & tangerine against a soft malt backdrop. ABV 8.5%

Prairie Artisan Ale, Paradise, Imperial Stout with Coconut & Vanilla 12 oz. Btl $9.99
99% RateBeer; 4.2 Outstanding Beer Advocate
Pours an oily jet black with a billowy tan head on heavy pour. Definitely sensing vanilla on the nose as well as light coconut and chocolate. Taste is vanilla forward broken up by notes of toasted coconut, caramel, creamy chocolate and breakfast coffee. Medium body with a slick oily mouth feel. ABV 13.0%
