 Josef Bauer Riesling Feuersbrunn 2019
This is a wonderful dry Riesling from a family-owned estate’s terraced vineyards over Feuersbrunn, Austria. Very ripe with lots of stone fruit aromas, full-bodied with a great balance of fruit and acidity.

“Peachy roundness and lemon freshness combine on the nose. The palate also juggles these aromas with aplomb, resulting in a joyous, light, dry and wonderfully pure-fruited Riesling. Refreshment is guaranteed.” Anne Krebiehl MW

Bauer Ried Spiegel Gruner 2018
The Spiegel vineyard has loess in addition to gravel and river rock deposits from the old Danube River when it was wild and forming the Wagram. This gives the wine yellow pear flavors, stone fruit, a light pineapple and mango tropical fruit touch, great structure and a very long well-balanced finish. The delicate creamy texture and lively, but pleasant, acidity making it a pure joy to drink. Wonderful now, but also has great aging potential.

“Pear notes are simultaneously juicy, ripe, aromatic and creamy. The rich palate continues this mellow, fruity creaminess and is very mild. It is on the back palate that yeast and pepper hit with slightly bitter pith note to lend pleasant structure. Yeasty notes dominate the finish.”  Anne Krebiehl MW

Hillinger Leithaberg Blaufrankisch 2016
A medium ruby color with a short purple rim. The nose shows ripe fruit of blackberry and ripe strawberries. Underlined by spicy aromas of white pepper and Mediterranean herbs, moss, and cloves. A taut structure supported by a few roasted aromas lead to a long balanced and animating finish. This wine shows the sense of place from the Leithaberg.

”The exquisite freshness of tart, red cherry mingles with the perfume of cinnamon-sprinkled blueberries. The palate then presents wonderfully ripe but tart fruits of the forest, again with that lovely cinnamon inflection. The body is sinuous, slender but firm. The finish is gloriously spicy. A very elegant wine”   Anne Krebiehl  MW
