Our Thoughts......
Deep vibrant red with purple hues to the rim.
The nose shows lifted plums, vibrant purple berries and a delicate spice note.
The palate hasconcentrated satsuma plum, blackberry with lovely charry oak in the background. Long, juicy and even with plush fruit on the finish.
Pairings: Barbecue or smoked meat, burgers, medium to hardy cheeses, great with roasted lamb as well.
Harvested at night to preserve both the pureness of the fruit and to maintain the acidity. Aged 10-12 months in French and American oak, minimal fining and filtration were used.
