The Wines

Santa Barbara Winery Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker Bruce McGuire selected a small block within the Great Oaks Vineyard. A block he recognized as having potential and one he could go back to year after year. Familiarity is important in order to extract the qualities that each vineyard offers.

The wine is made entirely of the Sauvignon Blanc Musque clone which produces wines of intense aromatics. .

Santa Barbara Winery Chardonnay

All the grapes were pressed as whole clusters with 63% of the wine fermented in stainless steel tanks. The remaining 37% was barrel fermented and underwent malolactic fermentation. The barrelled wine was aged 'sur lie' and its lees regularly stirred to impart flavor and complexity. The result is a wine that is bright and flavorful with a great deal of fruit intensity.

The bright fresh fruit of the cool stainless steel fermented wine is balanced with the richness of the barrel fermented malolactic component. Added complexity comes from vineyards sourced throughout Santa Barbara County.

Santa Barbara Winery Santa Rita Hills
 Pinot Noir

Exhibiting flavors and aromas of black cherry, strawberry, violets and black tea, this wine is the perfect red for light lunches on the patio, lazy afternoons picnicking in the shade or an evening of hors d’oeuvres and aperitiffs at the bistro.

 BONANNO CABERNET SAUVIGNON, NAPA VALLEY

A deep ruby red, this seductive Cab shows classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of spice
and sage followed by a mix of blueberries and blackberries with fresh raspberry notes.
With a nice balance of acid and well integrated tannins, this wine is smooth, supple and
sleek in the mouth: it is well balanced across the palate showcasing flavors of dark fruit,
currants and hints of mineral and anise.
