The Wines!

Santola Vinho Verde $9.99

Produced from Loureiro and Pederña grapes grown in the granitic soils of the Vinho Verde region, the Santola (or as we here are calling it, "the crab wine") is a delicious, spritely and refreshing white. It doesn't get much more traditional, thirst-quenching or seasonally perfect then this wine. Delicious, low in alcohol, slightly fizzy and way too easy to drink!

Esporao Verdelho $16.99

Crystal clear, citric colour with green tinges. Vibrant aromatics with tropical notes of lime and grapefruit. Fresh, elegant palate, good minerality, long and persistent finish.
Ideal Consumption Date: 2014-2017

Domaine du Dragon Rose' $15.99

If you needed Brangelina to clue you in to the delights of rose from Provence you will be paying a premium for your pink buzz this year.  If on the other hand, you're in the know, you can enjoy wines like this one from the gorgeous Domaine du Dragon for half the price!  Snap it up while supplies last.  This will sell out!!!
Pale Salmon with copper highlights.  The nose is intense with red fruit and strawberries.  Elegant palate with some chalk and savoury notes (herbes de provence/ramps)  The ultimate spring and sumer food wine;  Grilled White meats, Pasta, salad, pate and fine meats and cheeses.

Saint George Sant'Or Red $10.99

Organically made with vines that exceed 25 years of age, this dry red has an aroma of berries and spice with a touch of pasture herbs.

The palate is medium bodied with good fruit and a nice tannic finish that stimulates the taste buds. Great with fowls and meaty fish such as Tuna and Salmon.

Quinta Do Cabriz Reserva D.A.O. Red $20.99

Very dark, opaque wine with an 'old world' nose of cherries and light oak and a hint of earthiness. The palate is medium bodied with balanced juicy red fruits and a touch of spice. The wine is quite rounded and dry and has a pleasing long finish.
Matchs well with beef, burgers, hearty dishes, lamb, steak, spicy meat dishes.
