The Wines!

Lone Birch Pinot Gris $13.99

Lone Birch winery is family owned and operated. They have been farming in the Yakima Valley for over four generations. One of the pinnacle landmarks on the farm is the 70 year old Lone Birch Tree that resides amongst our vineyard. The symbolic tree serves as a reminder of the family's commitment to care for the environment, reduce their carbon footprint, utilize sustainable farming practices, and ensure the farm lives on for generations to come. This 100% Pinot Gris is light straw in color with an enticing bouquet of tropical fruit that leads to a well-balanced, medium-bodied mouthfeel with luscious flavors of pineapple, pear, and white peach.

Bookwalter Couplet, Chardonnay/Viognier $15.99

This blend offers aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine, nutmeg, ripe pears, lemon chiffon and breakfast melons. Flavors of Bartlett pears, ripe lemons, Fuji apples and honeydew melons are wrapped in a veil of subtle minerality and Asian spices. The bright, fresh fruit flavors are enhanced by a touch of sweetness and racy acidity indicative of this colder vintage. Blend: 61% Chardonnay, 39% Viognier?

Bookwalter Subplot #27, Columbia Valley $19.99

Our Subplot blend is a complex wine that provides a symphony of fresh fruit aromatically speaking; red fruits like black cherries, raspberries and black currants dominate the palate. The finish is moderately long with a nice balance to the structure fruit and acidity. Perfect for grilled summer meats, tuna and salmon

The Wine Advocate
Review: Jun 2014
Wine:  2011 Discovery Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

"Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and spending 21 months in 35% new French oak, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon May’s Discovery Vineyard is exotic and complex, with earth, tobacco and gaminess giving way to plenty of dark fruit. Medium+-bodied, textured and rich, it has a superb mid-palate and terrific length on the finish. It should evolve positively for 3-4 years and drink nicely through 2026."
93 points.
