The Wines!!

Domaine Le Fay D’homme Muscadet 2011
A  fresh Loire Valley wine, lemony and fruity. Well-balanced minerality.  The pale yellow color with tints of golden is clear and vibrant. Pleasantly tart in the mouth .Grown on sandy clay soil on course rock with mica and quartz. Pairs well with shellfish and holiday dinners.

Tissier et Fils Sancerre Blanc 2013
Savignon Blanc: This wine comes from a single vineyard with clay and limestone soils, from vines with an average age of 25 years.  Region well known for Sancerre Blanc and Rose. Fermentation on the lees, which brings the fat and plumpness. Very pale in color, this wine is engaging with a distinctive nose, evoking black currant bud, citrus (lemongrass), and flint. Balanced and structured.

Domaine de Bel Air Cuvee Gabriel 2011
Cabernet Franc  from Chinon. Light, fruity, pleasant, and very drinkable, this wine releases generous aroma of red fruits, cherries and strawberries.   Perfect Indian summer red, chill slightly. Aged in cement. The vines are young and grown in silt limestone soil.

Chateau Lestrille Bordeaux Superieur  2009
94% Merlot, and Cab Sav. Very ripe fruit, full-bodied on the palate and well integrated texture.   Lestrille wines are fruity, balanced, round and flattering. Aged in stainless steel vats during 1 year. Traditionally vinified with the utmost care, respecting the grape, aromas and the wine's personality. Located in Entre Deux Mers, they use sustainable winegrowing practices.

Xavier Cotes du Rhone 2010
60% Grenache 20%  Mourvèdre ,15% Syrah and Carignan . Palate is spacious, very silky, powerful and generous. The practice of Xavier is to age all the Grenache and Carignan in tank and the Mourvedre, and occasionally Syrah, in small oak. The classic Cotes du Rhone offers wonderful peppery, black currant, black cherry, tobacco leaf, licorice and spice characteristics, abundant flavor, more body and density than most wines with this humble pedigree, as well as terrific purity and texture. Robert Parker Rating 90.
