Each Friday we try to start your weekend off with a sampling of fine wines and beers that will allow you to relax into your "days off" with a positive note. Always a gathering of friends and neighbors and good conversation.

Wildewood Pinot Gris $19.99

Laurent Montalieu has spent 25 years mastering the art of fine wine production in the Willamette Valley. This Pnot Gris will show you how well, Ripe with excellent balance, aromas of pear and spice combine to proovide and more complex falvor than the typical Pinot Gris. Good length and balnced acdity make this an oideal wine for fish and lighter courses as well as an array of appetizers.

 

Belle Glos "Meiomi" Chardonnay $24.99

Meiomi Chardonnay embodies the character of California's most notable coastal wine regions. Unifying the unique characters from each region allows this Chardonnay to distinguish itself as an elegant, balanced Chardonnay fully formed.

The bouquet of the 2012 Central Coast Pinot Noir is enticing; aromas of deep, dark berry spice and violets that hint at the depth of this delightful wine. Juicy black currant, plum and cherry cola flavors accent the round texture, gentle structure and soft oak undertones. This wine is extremely flavorful and a fantastic value.

 

Cline Ancient Vine Mourvedre $19.99

Always a strong competotor in the San Francisco Chronicle wine tastings, this Mourvedre willl please and surprise you!
Flavors of dark plum and chocolate lead to a hint of oak and a smooth finish. This wine is a perfect choice for rack of lamb, duck confit, or steak tartare.
