Albastrele Pinot Grigio 2013 – South of Moldova, Black Sea $12.99
Handpicked from a 42 acre parcel in the South of Moldova, this Pinot Grigio is hand harvested, de-stemmed and berries gentle crushed. Rich, with intense aromas of acacia blossoms, fresh pear, melon and a hint of spice. 2013 was a very warm vintage and this wine will remind you what happens to Pinot Grigio in warmer climates compared to its usual colder breeding grounds in Northern Italy.
Tresor de la Riviere Cotes du Rhone, 2012 $14.99
Made from Syrah Grenache and Carignane.
Well balanced with generous red fruit flavors and soft elegant tannins. Very smooth on the palate, with great spice from the Carignane.
Chateau Vartely Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2011 – South of Moldova, Black Sea $12.99
Aged in French oak casks, produced at “Chateau Vartely” Winery from 100% Cabernet sauvignon grapes grown in the Southern area of Moldova. Fascinates with black currant, cherry stone aroma accentuated by spicy notes acquired from the oak barrels. 6000 case production.
BARREL 27 2012 SYRAH "RIGHT HAND MAN" CENTRAL COAST $21.99
As if their white wasn’t good enough , if the “High on the Hog” was the left hand, then why shouldn’t they have a red as their “Right Hand”?
Winemaker Mac Myers (owner/winemaker for McPrice Myers) contributes a little wine from his own project in order to make the Barrel 27 Syrah. So in a sense, here you get a wine that may retail for twice the price! This has been a tremendous sell in the past, so you can expect how incredible the highly-acclaimed 2012 is!
