At Owen Roe, we are committed to practicing the highest standards of winemaking. Since our first vintage in 1999, our goal has been simple; to produce beautiful wines from superior sites in the Pacific Northwest. A place where the fruit ripens slowly and fully, resulting in excellent acidity and balance. All of our grapes are hand harvested, handled with minimal processing, small-lot fermented and aged in French oak barrels.

In these images, winery owners (from left to right: Julie and Ben Wolff, David and Angelica O'Reilly) are shown breaking ground in Union Gap for our 2013 winery project. Completion of the first phase was September 2013, allowing our crew to prepare for blending and Spring bottling. Our new winery is now home to our Washington wine production and will become a destination winery for visitors to the Yakima Valley, through our future events and tasting room.

Foris Pinot Gris, Oregon                 $17.99
The 2013 Pinot Gris has aromatics of ripe melon, white peach, and tangerine with hints of orange blossom and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine opens with bright, tropical flavors, followed by soft acidity on the mid-palate, and lingering minerality.

Abbott's Table            $29.99

Reminiscent of the bold Abbot’s Table blends of past vintages, this 2013 bottling is rich and structured. Sweet aromas of baked blueberries, pomegranate, violets, pencil shaving, clove, pepper and Grand Marnier. These sweet aromas give way to a more serious palate brimming with blueberry, white pepper and black tea with lasting tannins.

 41% Zinfandel, 34% Sangiovese, 11% Malbec, 9% Blaufränkisch, and 5% Merlot.

Ex Umbris Syrah            $34.99
The 2012 Ex Umbris is a great expression of the bold fruit flavors from that year. Bursting with aromas of red plum, blueberry and pink peppercorn. The palate is filled with refreshing flavors of fresh summer blackberries, currant, and dark chocolate with noticibly structured acidity and silky tannins.

Sharecroppers Cabernet Sauvignon                    $21.99
Always a crowd favorite, the 2013 vintage proves to be another great attempt at creating a fruit forward, yet bold Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine exudes juicy aromas of pomegranate, blackberry and tobacco spice. Flavors of jalapeno, hints of eucalyptus and mint and a balanced mouth-feel finish with bright acidity and firm tannins. We recommend opening this wine now and enjoying it at a young age, however, this will age well for 4-6 years when properly cellared.

Yalumba Antique Tawny Port $24.99
This outstanding old dessert wine is deep tawny in colour, with an aroma featuring wood aged rancio, elegant brandy spirit and hints of dried fruits and spices. The palate has a firm rich texture, with chocolate and caramel flavours and a persistent aftertaste of nuts and rancio characters.

The fine spirit characters provide a firm balance to the middle palate and excellent drying finish.
