The Wines!!

De Meye Chenin Blanc $12.99

De Meye is a privately owned, boutique winery situated in Stellenbosch, one of South Africa’s most prestigious wine regions, with neighbours such as Simonsig, Kanonkop, Warwick, Laibach and Hoopenburg. The owners Jan and Philip Myburgh are the fifth generation to farm in this area. All their wines are produced from grapes grown on the farm. De Meye is named after the De Meye river in Holland, birthplace of the first Myburgh who came to South Africa in 1665.

Nico Van Der Merwe "Nicolas' White Blend $17.99

Crisp blend with a complex mouthfeel and long fruity finish, will complement any light to medium cuisine like salads, pasta and fish dishes.
    56% Sauvignon Blanc, 44% Semillon

?
Beaumont Pinotage $26.99

John Platter:
"This is an elegant cooler climate style Pinotage. Most of the grapes come from a 40yr old vineyard. The wine shows more red fruit characters and a medium bodied palate and ages beautifully!"

Ladybird, Laibach Bordeaux Red $24.99

This is the 10th release of South–Africa’s most popular organic wine. It feels like yesterday when we started with the first certified Organic Vineyards in the famous Stellenbosch appellation. Never in our wildest dreams would we have thought this wine will be so popular and build up such a following in just a decade.
Dark colour. Complex on the nose with some spice, leather and crushed berries. No hints of port or sweetness, just classic “claret” flavours. Still very primary but looking back to some previous vintages we know we will get some rose petal, cigar box and some meaty notes with ageing. Medium bodied, with good structure and great length. A wine with enough complexity and dimensions to improve with age. Enjoy!

Nico Van Der Merwe "Robert Alexander" Shiraz $18.99

It’s dark purple, nearly black in colour and has an elegant, full-bodied, spicy palate with integrated oak flavours. Smooth, fine tannins and a fruity finish. Blackberry flavours with hints of coffee and white pepper. A wine to complement serious cuisine.
100% Shiraz
