"Youngberg Hill creates authentic wines and experiences in our tasting room and Inn that will have you fall in love with life again.

Oregon’s premier wine country estate and one of Wine Spectator’s favorite locations; set on a 50 acre hilltop surrounded by an organic vineyard. We have an amazing 25 year old vineyard that is farmed organically. We are well known for producing award winning Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris wines. As passionate farmers and winemakers we are thrilled to share, educate, and talk wine. We respect the environment and believe that we can make a difference in how we treat the land and each other every day. We care for our wine and guests with this same respect and philosophy.  We are proud of our ‘Green’ approach to wine country living and look forward to sharing it with you." Our Story

"We treasured a childhood growing up on a farm in Iowa and the qualities and life lessons it gave. We wanted this for our three daughters (Natasha, Jordan, and Aspen). With the future in mind we wanted to create a sustainable and responsible farm. That is why we started farming organically in 2003 and continue to move toward biodynamic practices. Youngberg Hill is a small, family estate grower and producer of Oregon Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. We purchased Youngberg Hill in 2003 and overhauled the entire estate, including vineyard management, winemaking, tasting room, and hospitality. With backgrounds in winemaking, distribution, food & beverage, hospitality, and marketing, we knew that all of our talents would be used to turn something that was already beautiful on the outside into a place that was equally as beautiful on the inside, too.

Having the Inn on the vineyard is a great way to meet people from all over the world, make new friends, and to share the beauty of The Hill. It is wonderful to share our world with those who have a common interest in good wine, good food, and the wonder that abounds in this beautiful place we call Oregon." ~The Bailey Family

The Wines!!

2012 JORDAN PINOT NOIR  $49.99

The Jordan Block sits on 3.5 estate acres facing South at a steeper slope and getting more benefit from the coastal breeze each afternoon. The 2012 vintage is a more robust and fruit forward style wine due to the warmer than normal weather. The vintage drinks very well right now and will best in another two to three.

Dark ruby red color. Aromas of inviting earthy flora, red raspberry, dark cherry with a note of barrel. Flavors range from black cherry and currant to blackberry and plum followed by sweet spicy cinnamon and tannins for an extended finish.

Pairing Suggestions: A fuller bodied Pinot with higher acidity and tannins makes this wine go magically with any red meat and game.

2012 NATASHA PINOT NOIR  $49.99

The Natasha’s Block consists of 6.6 estate acres facing Southeast giving the maximum amount of sunlight in equal distribution to the vines. The 2012 vintage is a more robust and fruit forward style wine.

Ruby dark red color. Aromas of black pepper with a note of smoke and caramel backed up by red and black fruit. Flavors abound from red and black cherry to cranberry, raspberry, blackberry, candy apple, and currant. They are backed by rich mellow tannins, smoke, caramel, with a crisp but lengthy finish.

Pairing Suggestions: A beautiful and classic Pinot to pair with duck breasts, baked salmon, or pork tenderloin.

2012 PINOT NOIR CUVEE   $39.99

The 2012 Cuvee is a unique blend of fruit from three different vineyards (one being Youngberg Hill) from the McMinnville AVA and the Amity-Eola Hills AVA.  This wine is ready to drink now and one enjoyable to sip for its own merits without food or thought.

Ruby red color with aromas of bright cherry, raspberry, and cinnamon. The palate is alive with blueberry, Marion berry and dark cherry cola. Distinguished and approachable tannins linger for a lasting finish with slightly more acidity for balance.

Pairing Suggestions: A classic Pinot to pair with chicken, turkey and fish dishes.

2013 PINOT GRIS ASPEN   $27.99

The Aspen Block consists of 5 estate acres planted in 2006. The 2013 vintage is the fourth vintage of wine from this block.

Bright fruit aromatics range from grapefruit, mango, to apricot, leading to a flavor palate of lemon, grapefruit, apricot and tropical fruit. Its texture gives way to a wonderfully smooth and round finish that is easy to drink sitting out on the front deck. With a little higher acidity, it is very crisp with a soft, clean finish.

Pairing Suggestions: This wine has excellent balance for drinking by itself at cool temperatures or with cheeses, bread, and a light virgin olive oil.
