The Wines!

 C’est La Vie Blanc 2013

The appellation of this blend is Vin de Pays d'Oc and it comes from region of Languedoc Roussillon. 60% Chardonnay and 40% Sauvignon Blanc. This blend is a quaffable white, with aromas of melon, vanilla, and pineapple. There are also hints of caramel, sweet spices, herbs, and citrus notes from the Sauvignon Blanc. There is a good dose of fruit, vanilla, toast, and butterscotch on the palate that develops into light citrus and herbal flavors (very reminiscent of its nose). This label is always a hit as it reminds one of a traditional country wine in France. It's modern, hip, and of course, French. To sum it up, this wine is a juicy, crisp, and refreshing crowd-pleaser.

 Monmousseau Sancerre 2013

Sancerre is one of the most celebrated geographical area on which Sauvignon Blanc grows. Monmousseau choses a unique blend of vineyard sites to produce this wine. The Monmousseau Western vineyard contains soil dating from the Jurassic era. The eastern part of the vineyard has non chalky Cretaceous layers from the Eocene era. This gives the wine two distinct soils from which the grapes grow on. This produces a Sancerre with fresh fruit flavors along with structured minerality.

Block Nine Pinot Noir 2014

The 2014 Block Nine Pinot is beautifully long and rich in ripe cherry and berry flavors. The aromas exhibit generous bright fruit with a mix of strawberry, violets, plum, tea, and a hint of clove. Flavorful and silky in the mouth with good body, this wine is seductive, showing wild cherries and a hint of sandalwood to complete its complex finish. The 2014 growing season was generous is length and consistent temperatures. Flavors were strong at harvest and we think 2014 will prove to be a terrific vintage.

C’est La Vie Rouge 2013

60% Pinot Noir and 40% Syrah. Bright, fresh, and clean fruit make up this friendly red. Versatile with or without food, this unique blend is sure to be a hit. It has a clear, ruby color with a slight purple tint. Its nose is fragrant, full of ripe cherries and raspberries. The body is medium and dry, with balanced acidity and flavors of ripe berries and spices. Suggested food pairings are turkey and pork. The label is always a hit as it reminds one of a traditional country wine in France. It's modern, hip, and of course French.

 Saldo 2012

The Prisoner Wine Company presents a unique Zinfandel blend from some of the best vineyard sites in California. The 2012 Saldo has dark ruby color and opens up with bold aromas of black fruit, blueberry pie, juicy plum and hints of mulling spice. The entry is rich and full, with an inviting mid palette that has concentration and density backed by lively acidity. The texture is soft and velvety, with smooth polished tannins.
