The Wines!!

DaVinci Pinot Grigio $13.99

Our Pinot Grigio is sourced primarily from the Alto-Adige and Trentino districts in the Delle Venezie region. This high altitude region is particularly suited to producing Italy's top Pinot Grigios. DaVinci Pinot Grigio has a brilliant light straw color and a full, ripe palate. It is an extremely well balanced wine with a bouquet of floral aromas coupled with ripe flavors of fresh apple, citrus and tropical fruit flavors. This crisp, clean Pinot Grigio finishes with notes of minerals and a vibrant acidity.

Cantina Zaccagninin Montepulciano D'Abruzzo $15.99

Fermentation: gentle grape pressing, submerged-cap
maceration with controlled temperature maceration and first racking when set parameters are reached
Ageing and evolution: before bottling in steel, and about 4 months in Slavonic oak barrels, followed by bottle evolution
Sensorial features: intense ruby red colour with violet
nuances; intense, characteristic bouquet of the primary grape aromas; fruity component, full-bodied and robust, well-balanced with tannin and oak features
Bottle lifespan: on sale 2 years after harvest; bottle
evolution for 3 or more years
Serve at: 16-18°C

Allegrini Palazzo Della Torre $20.99

This blend of 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella and 5% Sangiovese is a smooth, fullbodied cru made in an innovative ripasso style. After the harvest, the grapes from the Palazzo della Torre vineyard follow two different paths: 70% of the grapes picked are vinified immediately, and the remaining 30% are left to dry until the end of December. The fresh wine made at harvest is blended with the fermenting juice of the dried grapes, initiating a second fermentation, and rendering a more highly concentrated and complex wine. Allegrini affectionately refers to Palazzo della Torre as its “baby Amarone.”

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in color, this wine is brimming with notes of dark, dried cherries, blackberries and hints of dates and mocha.

Food Pairing
Pairs well with fullflavored pasta and risotto dishes, roast poultry and chorizo. Also excellent with hard and semihard cheeses.

DaVinci Chianti Riserva $23.99

Our Chianti Riserva is sourced from the hills surrounding Vinci, Italy. Here the vineyard rows - where the slope will allow - are laid out perpendicular to the maximum gradient and are generally south-facing to guarantee more sunlight during the day.The Chianti Riserva has a distinctly fruity bouquet with dark cherry overtones that are balanced with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Its flavor reflects the fruit of the bouquet and is supported by balanced tannins. You will notice flavors of concentrated black fruit, plums, and ripe cherry fruit with spicy undertones all balanced by fine soft tannins and a full mineral finish.
