The Wines!!

La Galope Sauvignon Blanc, Cotes de Gasgogne $13.99

La Galope is a special brand produced by the renowned Domaine de l’Herre’ winery, an historic property founded in 1974 with approximately 130 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Gascony, at the foot of the Pyrenees, in South-West France.
The micro-climate of Gascony and the sand clayey soils make this a perfect terroir for Sauvignon Blanc. The vineyards are cultivated in a low-input process. To minimize the dangerous effects of remedial treatments, the vineyard is constantly monitored, preventive treatments are homeopathic and respect the soil. The vine is tended (pruning, trellising, green harvesting, etc.) in such a way as to ensure that the grapes offer up maximum aromatic precursors.

Domaine Didier & Catherine Tripoz Macon Charnay $18.99

"Domaine Catherine & Didier Tripoz Macon Charnay Clos des Tournons is from a small family winery owned and operated by Catherine and Didier. The quality of the wine from this vineyard has been recognized for centuries, thus it has been charactarized as a "lieux dit". They are 'people of the land' and follow a non-interventionist approach, so their wines represent the truest expression of the vineyard. Didier blends the best of both traditional and modern winemaking. The vineyards are managed biodynamically and organically. The grapes are hand harvested and the wine is feremented and aged in stainless steel. I love its fresh, crisp character with bright acidity and limestone flint qualities that reflect the land and region."~(Monica McCall)

Promesses de France, Bourgogne Rouge $16.99

Deep ruby color and an elegant nose of red fruits, like cherry, raspberry, strawberry and blackcurrant with a bit of spices and pepper. The mouth is full, well balanced with an elegant finish. It can be served with red meat, grilled salmon, pasties and hard cheese.

With the Promesses de France Bourgogne Pinot Noir, the promise is to offer an authentic wine produced in accordance with the Burgundian traditions. 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced form the best vineyards in Burgundy. The soils of the North are known for their fruity character, the soils of the South give wines of structure.

Chateau les Granges Entre Deux Mers, Bordeaux Rouge $14.99

Entre-Deux-Mers is a wine region in Bordeaux, in France. It is situated between the rivers Garonne and Dordogne, and is bounded in the east by the border of the Gironde department and in the west by the Bec d'Ambès, the confluence of the Garonne and the Dordogne.
The wine reflects the style of Bordeaux with rich dark fruit and good structure.
