The Wines!!

La Cana Albarino, Rias Baixas $17.99

"2012 Bodegas La Cana Albarino Rias Baixas 91pts (half aged in stainless steel and half in large French oak): Light, bright yellow. Highpitched aromas of lime zest, lemongrass and jasmine, with a chalky top note. Dry and tightly wound, offering energetic citrus and orchard fruit flavors that expand and deepen with air. Shows excellent energy on the finish, leaving behind lime and pear skin notes. Very grown-up in style, with no excess fat; it's an amazing value to boot". Stephen Tanzer´s International Wine Celler?

?
Protocolo Rose" $9.99

"(50% bobal and 50% tempranillo): Bright orange-pink. Vibrant aromas of strawberry and raspberry, plus a hint of citrus pith. Racy, finely etched red berry flavors provide good fruity appeal and palate coverage. Uncomplicated but extremely easy to drink, not to mention an outstanding value. Finishes with good clarity and cut, leaving a bitter orange zest note behind."

88 Points - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Avanthia Tinto Cuvee' Mosterio Mencia $21.99

The 2010 Avancia Cuvee Mosteiro 100% Mencia from head-pruned vines planted between 1920 and 1935 underwent malo in French oak, and the wine spent 12 months in wood prior to being bottled. It displays lots of black and blue fruits blueberries and a hint of raspberries. Deep, rich and full-bodied as well as elegant and precise, this beauty can be enjoyed over the next 5-6 years. Think of it as a ripe Loire Valley Cabernet Franc on steroids. RP Nov. 2013  90 points Robert Parker The Wine Advocate

Volver Tempranillo $18.99

This single vineyard-designated wine has plenty of red cherries, blueberries, mulberries and red raisins, depicting grapes pushed to full ripeness without going beyond the boundary into excessive overripeness. The oak character is relatively elegant with toasty, coffee hints only, and the balanced wine shows some lingering length as well. Drink now or in the next five or so years.

Tineta Ribero del Duero Red $18.99

"The grapes from this vineyard are used in the 2011 Tineta (100% Tinto Fino). It reveals a deep ruby/purple color as well as copious notes of creme de cassis intermixed with hints of wood smoke and charcoal. Medium to full-bodied, juicy, succulent and sensual, it should drink nicely through 2016." Robert Parker, Jr.'s Wine Advocate
