Every weekend we have free tastings that give you a chance to explore the wide word of wines!

Each Friday we try to start your weekend off with a sampling of fine wines and beers that will allow you to relax into your "days off" with a positive note. Always a gathering of friends and neighbors and good conversation.

Come in this weekend and visit with us!

Cass Vineyard and Winery is located in the rolling, oak-studded hills between Paso Robles and Creston on California's beautiful Central Coast. This area that the vineyard calls home offers quiet serenity for the visitor and an ideal growing environment for wine grapes.

Sited due east of the “Templeton Gap”, we receive the evening's cooling breezes that the west side of Paso Robles is noted for. We also rest far enough from the coast to generate the heat needed to optimally ripen the Rhone varieties grown on our 145 acre estate vineyard.

Cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain Viognier’s true varietal character, the 2014 vintage showcases perfumed aromatic of ripe plantain, Anju pear, white peach, and crushed acacia flower.  Essence of honeysuckle blossom offers a prelude to lush palate centered around flavors of dried gala apple, ripe apricot, and Meyer lemon marmalade.  A lingering finish features spiced pineapple and fresh pomelo zest highlighted by nuances reminiscent of iced limeade.  Enjoy now.

Flying Nymph Red $19.99

Our intrepid traveler alights in Paso Robles on an oasis where the air, light, and vines beckon to renew and refresh, where kismet has led us to till a dream.  Idealistic and visionary, our Flying Nymph celebrates freedom on this romantic flight of fancy.  We invite you to share the journey and discover the essence of our wine.  47% Mourvedre, 46% Grenache, 7% Syrah.

Grenache, Paso Robles $24.99

100% Grenache aged for 14 months in neutral French oak barrels, the 2013 vintage is intensely fragrant featuring aromas of freshly picked strawberry, wild red cherry and pomegranate jelly. Ground white pepper and dried rose petals further enhance the palate by exuding flavors of stewed raspberry tea, rhubarb sorbet and dried cranberry notes. Subtle tannins and soft acidity underscore the elegant finish delivering nuances of star anise, all-spice and crushed Lingdonberry. Enjoy now until 2018.

Syrah, Paso Robles $34.99

80% Syrah, 20% Petite Sirah.  A concentrated wine in both color and flavor, the 2011 Syrah gushes with blueberry and dried black fruit, followed by notes of peppered beef, smoke, cocoa, and chocolate. The palate explodes with strawberry, cola, and maple-glazed bacon flavors. Yet despite its flavor intensity, the palate remains soft and supple, with a creamy texture that is full yet pleasant. The dark fruit profile is persistent through the lingering finish as sweet oak, coffee, and raspberry notes fill in. 22 months in both French and American oak. Pairs well with something off the grill such as a burger, rib, or steak.

Hacienda Mourvedre $33.99

A Cass cult favorite! Normally a blending grape, this single varietal wine was aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels. The nose initially displays bright red cherry, fresh cranberry and dragon fruit scents. Mourvedre’s unique varietal characteristics of caramel, forest floor and charcuterie highlight hints of fresh cut mint. On the palate, bright acidity pops open, in the true Mourvèdre fashion. Complex flavors are showcased with notes of pomegranate, dried cranberries, whole white peppercorns and crushed geranium flowers.
