The Wines!!

Hoopla is made by Anne Vawter is the winemaker. She was assistant winemaker at Paradigm for four years before going out on her own and as consulting winemaker.

Split Creek Farms is made by Chris Donatiello of C. Donatiello wines. These are small production vineyards with the Chardonnay and Pinot from Sonoma/Sonoma Coast and the Cabernet from Hopland in Mendocino.

Both, really top-notch winemakers!

Hoopla Chardonnay 2013
Single vineyard Yountville chardonnay with a full-texture mouthfeel and flavors of pear, green apples and lemon zest. A bit of all-spice lingers in the pronounced finish.

Split Creek Farms Chardonnay 2013
Notes of honeysuckle and Golden Delicious apple and hints of spice come through on the nose. The wine shows clean, refreshing flavors of citrus, melon, and peach. The finish is creamy in the mouth, with subtle notes of integrated oak.

Split Creek Farms Pinot Noir 2013
Concentrated aromas of boac tea, bright cherries and an ancho chile spice. Luscious palate shows layers of raspberry, strawberry with a long finish.

Hoopla The Mutt Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
A full, classic Napa cabernet at an unbeatable price. Rich, full-bodied with ripe blackberry fruits, vanilla, dark chocolate and toasty spices. From estate vineyards in Yountville and Oakville.

Split Creek Farms Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Red plum, dark cherry, anise, cedar and spice perfume this mouth-full of wine. Ripe currant, cherry, black licorice and fresh forest give substance to the powerful finish that lingers well beyond its price.
