The Wines!!
Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc $15.99
A beautiful summer and typically long, warm autumn allowed us to produce a very expressive and elegant Sauvignon Blanc. Bright passionfruit, grapefruit and tropical aromas are complemented by an array of citrus and tropical fruit characters on the palate. A portion of this wine was fermented in seasoned French oak barriques, which has added depth and texture to the wine. This wine has lovely balance and concentration, the finish has some fresh acidity and is long and clean. Maturity in 3-4 years. Enjoy in moderation with baked white fish, shellfish, Greek goat cheese salad.
Tournon Mathilde White $15.99
Colour : vibrant golden yellow
Nose : fresh crisp nose with notes of exotic fruits and slight toasty notes
Palate : supple & fresh attack, round structure supported by a good balance between acidity and
minerality
Enjoy with Seafood, Curry and White meats
Tournon Mathilde Shiraz $15.99
Colour : brilliant, dark ruby colour
Nose : deep with black fruits and pepper aromas
Palate : supple and greedy with silky and elegant tannins
Enjoy with All kind of meats.
Vinaceous "Raconteur" Cabernet Sauvignon $17.99
The Raconteur typifies classic Margaret River cabernet; lush, rich and deep purple in colour with bright hues, the aroma leaps from the glass with violets and black berry and mocha notes. Not unlike a Rorschach Image, people will see different flavors across the palate; some will find ripe fleshy black currants and cassis, others will find crunchy sour cherries; but both complement the overall palate with intensity, weight, structure and texture.
Along with lip-smacking tannins and fine oak nuances, the Raconteur can easily be enjoyed on immediate opening or be cellared for up to 10 years and is absolutely a must with roast lamb, char-grilled rib-eye and/or array of cheeses!
Elderton Shiraz, Barossa $27.99
"This vintage is an absolute classic. The fruit was crushed and inoculated with a selected yeast strain. Fermentation took place in concrete open top fermenters at 20 - 28°C for approximately 5 - 7 days, mostly headed down under oak boards. Maturation using the best American oak puncheons for 14 months. Will drink well now and cellar tremendously into the medium term. "
