The Wines!!

Jubilee Pinot Blanc 2014

So edenic is Lake Kaltern in the Alto Adige region of Italy, you'd swear you're in a fairy tale. The surrounding terraced vineyards benefit from the lake's mediating climate. Since 1906, the wine cellar Jubilaeumaskelleri, or "Jubilee", has been making pristine wines. Jubilee Pinot Blanc is the rare true, high quality Alto Adige wine. Clean with bright acidity, stone fruits and floral notes, this is a wine you will want to sip on well into summer.

Giocato Pinot Grigio 2014

Made by cult winemaker Aleks Simcic, this Pinot Grigio is grown just two miles east of Italy. From Goriška Brda in Slovenia, this is often considered "Italia's" best white wine Cru. Stephen Tanzer considers Simcic to be perhaps the best winemaker in Eastern Europe and his top wines sell for hundreds of Euros per bottle throughout the Old World. With hand-harvested grapes and low yields, this is a ripe, yet very clean Pinot Griogio with aromas of citrus and white flowers and loads of mineral character on the palate.

Monte Tondo Corvina 2014

This estate is found nestled in the gentle hills of Soave, just a few steps from Verona. Three generations have run this estate, passing down the precious art of winemaking. Their Corvina is produced in the DOC Valpolicella production area. This is a rare opportunity to taste 100% Corvina as it is often blended to produce Valpolicella. Ideal with Mediterranean dishes, this wine tastes of dark fruit core with cherry, dark chocolate and spicy notes.

Podere Ciona Montegrossoli 2013

The smallest estate Small Vineyards imports, produces this beautiful Montegrossoli that proves that bigger is not always better. Located within Chianti Classico, the Gatteschi family has a view for miles and miles with nothing but forests, vines, and castles. This wine is like a "baby SuperTuscan", bright Sangiovese and aromas typical of Chianti, ripe fruits and spices with a crisp, long finish that lingers.

Verso Rosso Salento IGT 2014

Verso's estate is located in the Eastern coast of central Italy in the Puglia region. Verso Rosso is a full-bodied, luscious wine made with a small percent of 'appassimento' or raisins, grapes. Rich and dark in color, with vibrant spice flavored, it is a hedonistic experience that captures the polished side of Negroamaro and Primitivo.
