The Wines!!

Steininger Grüner Veltliner Sekt (Sparkling wine) $24.99

Perfectly balanced fruit with mouth filling bubbles, nutty citrus fruit, rich mid-palate and a long fresh finish. Not as toasty/yeasty as French Champagne but this wine has the complexity and balance of fine Champagne.

Tegernseerhof Grüner Veltliner Bergdistel 2011 Smaragd  $29.99

The Bergdistel Smaragd is a blend of the lower terraces of the different Cru’s in Loiben and Weissenkirchen. The combination of coolness, maturity and vitality of this Grüner Veltliner finishes in a shining elegance and full of finesse! Intense, concentrated wine, which packs spice, ripe pineapple and apricots and a final floral character that fills the mouth.  The result is one of the most elegant and balanced Smaragd Grüner there is…….

93 Points   (only a few bottles left)

“Very mineral in character, this wine is named after a former priest of Dürnstein who renovated the village church. It is certainly ripe, while very textured and chalky in character, with its acidity whirling around the glass. There's great concentration as well, beautifully smoothed out by the spice and crisp apple balance. Screwcap. Imported by Select Wines.”                                                    ROGER VOSS

Leo Hillinger Zweigelt 2014 – organic  $17.99

Textbook Zweigelt with dark plum color, red raspberry, currant and red licorice notes. Medium to full-body with soft tannins and dark spice on the full finish. Very food friendly, pairing well with pork, grilled meats or vegetables and red sauces. The best Pizza wine !!!

Anton Bauer Blaufränkisch Reserve 2012 $34.99

Dark ruby with nearly opaque core, violet highlights and a thin, transparent rim. Dark berry fruit, black berry jam and dark minerals. A juiy-extracted core is elegantly wrapped in a harmonious veil of fine- grained tannin. The long finish has textures of dark fruit and notes of Hazelnut chocolate.

Potential for further development and ageing.
