The wines are typically 90 points or better and are discounted 20-40%. Sometimes even more! when we can get special pricing from our vendors , we pass the savings along to you!!
Come in on Thursday and sample. If you can't make it, call us and we can put some aside for you!!

Joe has been a busy guy of late — he sold his Meiomi brand a little over a year ago for for upwards of $300 million, he launched a new Oregon Pinot Noir called Elouan (a big hit here), and he most recently launched his new Russian River Pinot Noir called Boen just a few months back. Our Thoughts.....
The Wagner Family began their illustrious wine making history with Caymus and have developed numerous brand with a simple but difficult to execute philosophy - make the best wine possible for the American palate. To my knowledge, they have never before offered a Pinot Noir from Russian River. We are more than a little pleased to be introducing this great new offering to Northern Virginia!
You're familiar with the Belle Glos offerings, also from Joe Wagner, and I believe you'll agree with me that this wine stands shoulder to shoulder with those iconic California Pinots!

RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY PINOT NOIR
The Russian River Valley is recognized as one of the world’s most ideal regions for growing Pinot Noir. Just a few miles from the Pacific ocean, the Russian River Valley benefits from natural air conditioning in the form of cool and often foggy air that arrives in the evening, then retreats the following morning. The result is a longer growing season which allows Pinot Noir to develop full flavors while retaining its natural acidity. The unique soils of the region also contribute exponentially to the quality of the wine grapes grown in them. Over millions of years water flowing off the mountains has carried with it eroded volcanic deposits and ancient, uplifted bedrock, while the Russian River has deposited large amounts of alluvial material to form prime benchlands.
Owned and operated by Joseph Wagner, Copper Cane Wines & Provisions is based in Napa Valley and houses a collection of brands that are crafted to offer a touch of luxury for everyday indulgence. The current portfolio includes: Elouan Pinot Noir from Oregon, Beran Zinfandels of California, and Carne Humana Red and White Wines from Napa Valley.
