The Wines!!

Orin Swift "CA 4", White Blend $19.99
The inaugural release of Locations California White stays true to the philosophy and heart of our international winemaking project. Simple. Complex. Fun. We aim to showcase the best of each Location we work with. Successfully having crafted a red wine that highlights the best of the golden state, we went back to our growers in Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino and procured Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Roussanne that we had been intrigued by in our travels. By sourcing from these three premier regions, using a combination of oak barrel and stainless steel fermentations, and blending the components just so, we were able to craft a white wine of excellent quality and character, which perfectly reflects the diversity and potential of California.

Albert Bichot Macon-Luny "Les Charmes' 2014 $21.99
Beautiful yellow robe with white gold reflections. The white flowers and citrus dominance of the nose leads on to notes of honey and dried fruit. The mouth is very well-balanced, skilfully blending vivacity and roundness.

With a meal, this Chardonnay will use the charms of its aromatic palette on seafood, fish cooked in sauce or simply-prepared white meats. Trout with asparagus, chicken in white wine sauce or mountain cheese (Alps) are all make excellent companions.

Albert Bichot "Secret De Familie" Pinot Noir 2014 $24.99
bursting with aromas and flavours of raspberries with hints of spice.

Orin Swift "Saldo" Zinfandel $36.99
Saldo is the prototypical Zinfandel that showcases some of Northern California’s most renowned Zinfandel vineyards and regions. The word “Saldo” is of Latin origin often referring to “from here and there” or in this case, representing our sourcing of Zinfandel from regions “here and there” across Northern California.

We source from California’s oldest, dry-farmed, historic vineyards. These vines are grown in distinct soil types in the cool climates of Sonoma and Mendocino county and stretching inland to the warmer regions of Lodi and the Sierra Foothills. The wine displays a dark ruby color with bold aromas of blackberry, plum and clove. The entry is rich and full, with juicy acidity encircled in flavors of Mexican chocolate, cherry and vanilla extract. There is a voluptuous and persistent finish with smooth tannins.

Orin Swift "Palermo" Cabernet Sauvignon $49.99
Rich aromas of seasoned oak meld effortlessly with ripe boysenberry and candied cassis. The entry of the wine is soft and delicate, but quickly evolves into a serious mid-palate replete with opulent and concentrated flavors of dark fruits. Black currant and kirsch provide background to lively raspberry and cherry notes that create a near endless finish.
