The wines are typically 90 points or better and are discounted 20-40%. Sometimes even more! when we can get special pricing from our vendors , we pass the savings along to you!!
Come in on Thursday and sample. If you can't make it, call us and we can put some aside for you!!

This wine blends varieties that includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. It offers fruit-forward aromas of raspberries and plum accented by herbs and flowers. Ripe and full-bodied flavors carry through the smoky finish.

 
Our thoughts……

Principally a Bordeaux-style blend with a rich entry and soft tannins and Oregon Zinfandel to enhance the fruit element. This is toasty and dark, a muscular wine offering strawberry preserves, cassis, cola and a swirl of smoke. Quite young and fruit powered, it’s got the concentration to develop further. Open it a half hour before serving or decant.

Their Story, their words......

Sineann (shuh-NAY-uhn) is a small producer of highly intense wines made from the finest grapes from the finest vineyards in the region. Almost all our wines are single-vineyard designated, with low crop levels to ensure that the best characteristics of the varietal and terroir shine through. Our meticulous approach to winemaking - minimal processing, aging in French oak - helps us preserve the character of each wine we create. The result are wines that both we and our growers take great pride in. The bottom line is, we strive to make great wine - the only kind of wine that makes it onto our dinner table. We believe that food and drink, lovingly prepared, make for happier and healthier people.

Meet the Winemaker
Peter Rosback got his start in winemaking when he made his first Pinot Noir in 1985. In 1994 he launched Sineann with David O'Reilly. Peter has continued the Sineann tradition and David went on to start Owen Roe. We first met him over 5 years ago and have been impressed with each offering he's brought to Virginia.
Now one of the finest wine producers in the Pacific Northwest, Peter is clearly passionate about making wines he loves, and it shows. Though Pinot Noir is still the main attraction, Peter has broadened his portfolio over the years to include stellar Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc wines, to name a few.
Well known for sourcing fruit from only the best vineyards, Peter carefully crafts wines from vineyards throughout the Pacific Northwest, from Washington's Horse Heaven Hills to the Willamette Valley. In the spring, Peter travels to New Zealand to make Sauvignon Blanc (Awatere Valley) and Pinot Noir (Central Otago).
