Barolo is a community perched on a hill at the center of the world. The red-roofed houses overlook the lush vineyards where, in the light of the sun, the sheer pleasure of living is renewed each day.
The most noble Barolo produced in Italy, Marchesi di Barolo represents nobility, quality, class and majesty. The Marchesi di Barolo estate encompasses approximately 100 acres of vineyard in the Langhe - some of the finest in Piedmont. The cellars are locted in the village of Barolo, overlooking the spectacular Renaissance castle of the Marquis Falletti. That early dynasty established the vineyards there, which were then acquired in the late 19th century by Pietro Abbona, the undisputed patriarch of Barolo. Since that time Marchesi di Barolo has sustained a vibrant history of innovation and success.
