2007 Murphy's Law Columbia Valley White Blend $16

The Murphy's Law is made by David O'Reilly from Owen Roe fame in
conjunction with the Local Wine Co. in Washington. This seven white
grape variety blend is a multi-dimensional mix of 49% Sauvignon Blanc,
17% Chardonnay, 11% Gewurztraminer, 10% Pinot Gris, 6% Semillon, 4%
Pinot Blanc and 3% Riesling. Candied fruit flavors including peaches,
lemon rind and honey make this slightly off-dry kitchen sink blend
reminiscent of Conundrum at its best. Think Alsace meets Northern Italy
on the way to Slovenia.

Independent Producers Chardonnay 2008 $13

"Very classy style of Chardonnay with excellent aromatics and texture.
Every bit of the oak is perfectly integrated with notes of pineapple,
apple, pear and notes of honey. Stunning value."

Corvidae The Keeper Cabernet Franc 2007 $20

The Keeper is a Keeper. We know that sounds corny but give it a try and
you'll know what we mean. Lovely fresh tobacco and green olive fragrance
provide a graceful backdrop for the exuberant berry fruit with just a
hint of violets. If you love deep rich wine with plenty of character
you'll be keeping this one around, seriously.

Pair this wine with green peppercorn roasted pork tenderloin, hearty
lasagna, or braised chicken with wild mushroom ragout.

Owen Roe "Sinister Hand" 2008 $29

On this label the family crest depiction of a severed left hand tells the story of a
rowing competition among the ONeills & the OReillys (Owen Roe was an ONeill).
Whoever touched land first after rowing across the lake was rewarded with the land
he touched. Lagging behind, one of the kinsfolk grabs his sword to cleave his hand
and pitches it ashore to touch land first. He won the land and eventually ruled over it. as king.

Our primary source for this wine is Dr. Steve Elerding’s vineyard in the
Horse Heaven Hills, where the proximity of the Columbia River is a vital part of the
success of these traditional Rhone varietals. This wine is very dark with fruit flavors,
 pepper and an excellent texture.

Owen Roe "Sharecropper's "Cabernet Sauvignon" 2008 $25

The fruit for the 2008 Sharecropper Cabernet Sauvignon is all Columbia Valley AVA.
With a beautifully long Indian summer the ‘08 vintage yielded perfectly ripe fruit with
lithe bright acidity. This wine has a beautiful nose ripe with blueberries,
black currants, dark cherries and wild strawberries. A nice long finish lingers with
flavors of licorice, olives and cedar. Muscular, but not a brute, firm tannins and
elegant structure will let this wine age beautifully over 4-6 years.
