STANGELAND PINOT NOIR EOLA HILLS CUVVE 2021

A textbook example of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Stangeland continues to set the standard for the region. Brilliant magenta.  Musky, spice-tinged dark berry and cherry pit aromas, along with hints of licorice and cola.  Plush and open-knot, offering jammy blackberry and cherry compote flavors that are sharpened by a suggestion of cracked pepper.  Supple tannins come in slowly on the clinging finish, which leaves a suggestion of blackberry liqueur behind.
