Cholila is the name of a town in Patagonia, but more famously, it was the location of Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid's ranch. The outlaws bought the ranch in 1901 and lived there for about 4 years before they were forced to sell it & flee to evade detectives.   Cholila Ranch Malbec shows a deep purple color, and aromas of ripe plum and mulberry with violet hints. Ripe black fruits and fig on the palate combine with touches of smoke and vanilla. Powerful yet balanced with a persistent finish.
