""Il Cortile"" is harvested from vineyards on the estate that lie entirely within the Colli Fiorentini zone. Made from the traditional grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo, with temperature controlled fermentation, it is aged in large casks for 18 months. Named for the castle's courtyard, ""Il Cortile"" is aromatic, with cherry and violet notes, medium-bodied and smooth; versatile with a wide range of foods.
