Cousino Macul Dama De Plata 2017

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Dama del Plata, from Buin, Maipo, was aged for 12 months in barrels. Rich garnet in hue. The nose offers notes of black currant and mint with blackberry jam, black pepper, cigar box and wax. Indulgent, with a flow channeled gently by the wood and tannins. The texture is a little rugged, while the finish is cleansing.

Berries give way to smoke and spices on the nose. This wine is full-bodied and after 12 months of aging in oak barrels, it exhibits tobacco and berry flavors with hints of peppercorn. Medium tannins and gentle acidity provide a soft texture. The finish shows notes of smoke.
