Mount Peak Gravity Red Blend 2019

The 2019 Proprietary Red Blend Gravity, primarily Syrah with a touch of Viognier and Zinfandel, comes mostly from the Monte Rosso Vineyard. It has an opaque ruby-purple color and intense, aromatic layers of wild berry and blueberry jam, tar, apricot, aniseed, mint leaves and violet. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and ripe, with a surprisingly silky texture and loads of spicy accents fanning out on the long finish. This lush, hedonistic blend deserves another 3-5 years in bottle.

This concentrated, deep and well-layered wine made from Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Viognier is absolutely drenched in ripe black fruits laced with tempting mint, clove and tobacco nuances. It is complex, velvety in texture and remarkably flavorful, ending with a lingering finish.

The 2019 Gravity Red Blend takes on black and blue fruits, with blackberry liqueur, cracked pepper, and crushed violets. The palate is seamless with the nose and full of fleshy fruit, dark chocolate, and rocky earth. Drink now or over the next 6 years.
