Winemaker Notes: The color is an intense, dark, and deep black. The nose is fresh, with notes of blackcurrant and white pepper, supported by mocha oak. The palate is elegant and straightforward. The attack is fresh. Lots of roundness and, above all, a finish that surprises with its length. Aromatic return of fruit and brioche-like oak.
Its elegance and freshness make it an excellent partner for dishes such as herb‑crusted lamb, roast duck, mushroom risotto, beef tenderloin, or aged cheeses where the wine’s aromatic lift and supple texture shine.

In its modern form, this estate is the creation of the late Philippe Raoux who populated the property with massive modern art installations. This wine is a fine testament to the proprietor, ripe, structured and dense. It is set for long-term aging. Drink from 2027. — Roger Voss
