A blend of Chenin and Semillón from old vines in the Luján de Cuyo region. The 2019 Catena Appellation Luján de Cuyo White Clay is a straight-pressed wine that spent six months on its lees before it was bottled. Golden in color, it presents aromas of wet wool, wax and honey that combine luxuriously with oak, toffee and vanilla notes underlining the overall complexity. The traditional approach results in a smooth, creamy palate, good acidity and intense flavor.

The vibrant and lively 2019 Appellation Luján de Cuyo White Clay has a subtle nose of bay leaf and white flowers and a medium-bodied palate with moderate alcohol and a fine thread. It was produced with a blend of very healthy grapes, 60% Semillon and 40% Chenin Blanc from clay soils. They harvested very early in 2019, and the yields were slightly below average. The wine has deep flavors and very good freshness and acidity. It finishes with a tasty, salty, medicinal and bittersweet sensation. 36,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2019.
