Il Palagione is an historic farmstead dating back to 1594, set along the scenic road connecting San Gimignano to Volterra. San Gimignano is commonly referred to as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages”. Certified Organic, The Vernaccia di San Gimignano Hydra (made with organic fruit), is light and luminous in appearance with simple aromas of white peach, melon, a note of raw almond and crushed mineral. The wine is snappy and streamlined in terms of mouthfeel with a bright and compelling personality. But don’t drink it too cold. Give it some time out of the fridge before drinking.
