The Grande Cuvee boasts a deep ruby color and displays a pleasant bouquet of red berries and plum highlighting the expression of the dominant Merlot. Rich, refined, fruity and deep in structure, the palate shows good concentration and a harmonious balance. Long flavors of ripe fruits and vanilla nuances give way to an elegant cuvee. Pair with red meats, such as entrecote, grilled meats and cheeses.

This is attractive and delicate with a medium body and polished texture. It shows an array of blackberries and blueberries as well as violets, light tobacco and walnuts. Nicely shaped and structured with firm tannins and a flavorful finish.

With a blend that includes seriously perfumed Sauvignon Gris, this wine is full of fruit and freshened with acidity. It was aged in wood, which gives the wine a fine toasty edge. Drink the wine now.

Mostly Merlot, the 2020 Château Vermont La Grande Cuvee has lots of ripe black cherry, tobacco, and chocolaty notes to go with a medium-bodied, elegant, incredibly seamless style on the palate. I love its tannins, as well as its balance, and it's perfect for enjoying over the coming 5-7 years or more.
