Displaying wonderful clarity of fruit and excellent transparency to the multi-layered flavors, there is no new oak influence on this at all, resulting in a wine that has nothing to hide behind. Deft tannins support a taut, mineral, dark fruited wine that, while tight knit and brooding is tremendously refined and vital and not at all tiring to drink. A Ribera built on elegance, refinement and nuance that promises great things for the future. A star is born.

"Picking dates were crucial in 2020, according to Michael Zaccagnini, because of rain during harvest, but he picked before the downpours. Sourced from venerable parcels in La Horra, this is a fine, detailed, elegant Tinto Fino with understated 15% new oak, refreshing acidity and flavors of cassis, redcurrant and summer berries. This deep violet-colored wine has a nose of brambly black and red berries, crumbled sage and a hint of lavender. There's a light touch of wood, thanks to aging in 600-liter barrels, which offers satiny tannins and touches of coffee and spice to bright pomegranate and raspberry flavors. The vivid finish is marked with notes of mocha and violet.
