A very fine riserva with black-cherry, walnut with some cedar aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied with lovely tension and a fresh finish. Racy and refined. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

The nose balances tart blackberries and bergamot with a peppery earthiness, while the palate leans into that tangy, almost metallic earthy quality but also has a blast of vivacious acid and some sweeter fruit notes for balance and intrigue. Tannins are pliant, but do provide structure.

The 2019 Chianti Classico Riserva is slightly deeper ruby-hued and brings a touch more density and depth, with ripe black and red fruits, savory Mediterranean herbs, spicy wood, and graphite-driven aromatics. It's rich, medium-bodied, and concentrated, with ripe tannins and a great finish. Aged two years all in oak, drink bottles through 2031.
