Deep ruby red in color, this Riserva opens with an intense and persistent bouquet of ripe berries layered with warm spices — licorice and freshly cracked black pepper — supported by beautifully integrated oak. On the palate, it is structured and balanced, showing impressive depth and complexity. Flavors of red fruits intertwine with savory spice notes, leading to a long, persistent finish. Classic, refined, and built with the added concentration and elegance expected from a Chianti Classico Riserva.
The wine is aged in small Tuscan oak barrels for 24 months. The wine is then aged for 6 months in the bottle before release.
