Domaine-de-la-Mordorée Côtes du Rhône 2022

A beautifully expressive Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge from Domaine de la Mordorée, produced from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards across a diverse mix of sandy, clay, and cobblestone soils. The wine shows a deep ruby-red color and an inviting nose of ripe blackcurrant, dark berries, and delicate violet.

On the palate, it is generous yet refined, with concentrated dark fruit balanced by freshness and a smooth, polished texture. The tannins are fine and beautifully integrated, giving the wine structure without heaviness. With no oak aging, the pure character of the fruit and terroir remains at the forefront, leading to a long, elegant finish.

A versatile and food-friendly red, it pairs particularly well with charcuterie and cold meats, grilled meats, roasted dishes, and semi-mature cheeses.
