The 2024 Zinfandel Juvenile comes from a site where the average vine age is now around 30 years old, with some missing vine spots replanted more recently. The wine is savory and elegant, with the missing vine spots adding freshness to the profile. Offering notes of mocha, deeper cherry, and fig tones, it’s medium to full-bodied on the palate. It opens with ripe cherry cordial and purity and has ripe tannins.

The 2024 Zinfandel Juvenile is a very pretty entry-level offering from Turley. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, spice and mint give this mid-weight, perfumed red tons of character. The 2024 is an especially delicate, gracious Zinfandel. What a beauty.
