The 2017 Red Blend Finis Terrae is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 5% Syrah from Maipo. It aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels. Dark garnet red in hue. The complex nose presents ripe blackcurrant and blackberry notes with hints of mint, pepper, licorice and bay leaf; the oak adds cigar box aromas. Voluminous with structured, firm tannins. The flavors are fruity and well-defined with blackcurrant coming to the fore at the back of the mouth. A typical warm year Maipo Bordeaux blend. Drinking Window 2023-2037.
