This wine is serious and unmistakably Dundee Hills in its lightness but structed and concentrated showing the power of the Alexana Estate. The winemaking during this vintage used short ferments, extended maceration, whole cluster lots, de la stage treatments, uninoculated fermentations and many more techniques encompassed in this Estate bottling. It contains notes of raspberry, cherry, tobacco, cocoa powder, white pepper on the nose with bright acidity with bright red fruit on the palate.
Individual barrels are selected from our small-production 'Single Vineyard' Pinot Noir program with the intention of seamlessly bringing together four distinct 'Terroirs' to create a unique bottling of 'Willamette Valley' Pinot Noir. Each vineyard block is fermented separately in small batches with native yeasts before resting in French oak barrels for 10 months. Each spring, Winemaker Bryan Weil selects individual barrels from each vineyard block to create a beautifully expressive and balanced version of 'Willamette Valley' Pinot Noir.

Boasting a translucent medium ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass, the 2021 Revana Pinot Noir from Alexana elicits aromas of crushed blueberries, sour cherries, pencil shavings, dried mountain herbs, black tea, and just a smooch of old leather. Tannins are silky smooth, acidity is mouthwatering, and it finishes with an enticing red fruit and herbaceous note on the back of the palate. Drink now or over the next 8 years.

Cool-toned and lifted, it presents polished red berry fruits that swirl across a stream of tantalizing acidity. Liquid violet florals coat the palate. The finish is gently tannic with a pleasantly bitter blackberry tinge.
