Château Teynac is a Saint Julien unlike any other.
Its grape varieties are traditional for Medoc wines: a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (28%) and Petit Verdot (2%): a proportion varying slightly depending on the vintage at the time of blending. The vines used to produce it are surrounded by those classified as Cru which constitute 95% of the appellation.

Attractive density of fruit to this red with lots of blackcurrant and wet-earth character. Full body and chewy tannins that are polished and rounded already.
