Winemakers Notes: The color is a vibrant garnet red with mauve reflections, indicating good fruit ripeness. The bouquet is very elegant, with notes of black cherry, small red fruits such as currants, floral notes, and a slight hint of plum jam. On the palate, the balsamic notes are balanced with noble and immediate tannins, pleasantly intertwined with a final sensation of sweetness.
Pair with cured meats and medium-aged cheeses, first courses such as agnolotti or pasta with meat sauce, and main courses based on red meat.
