The 2023 CEANDA jumps from the glass with lifted aromatics of blackberry, red currant, and ripe plum, accented by violets, sweet vanilla, and graphite. On the palate, it offers a seamless balance between power and elegance layers of cassis, dark cherry, and blueberry compote framed by velvety tannins and a vibrant line of acidity. Subtle notes of mocha, cedar, and tobacco leaf weave through the mid-palate, giving depth and sophistication. The finish is long and polished, lingering with flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, and savory earth tones. A graceful yet structured Cabernet that captures the essence of our estate vineyards, approachable in youth yet built to evolve beautifully over the next 15+ years.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Ceanda exhibits darker, black and blue fruits, cassis, plums, graphite, scorched earth, spicy oak, and freshly sharpened pencil nuances. Aged 20 months in 70% new barrels, this 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petite Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc blend is medium to full-bodied and has a concentrated, pure, focused mouthfeel, rock-solid tannins, and a great finish. This brilliant 2023 needs 4-5 years of bottle age and will evolve for well over two decades. Drink 2029-2050.
