This Reserva is a masterclass in Douro expression—powerful yet refined. On the nose, it is complex and inviting, with wild berries, cassis, and blueberry aromas, enriched by floral echoes and warm spice—the bouquet is both lush and sophisticated. On the palate, it is full-bodied and textured, combining rich flavors of black raspberries, dark plums, and cassis with nuances of vanilla, cocoa, toasted spice, leather, and subtle espresso. The wine balances muscular structure with juicy vitality. The finish is tense, long, and layered. Fruit and spice persist over a firm yet vibrant mineral backbone, with well-integrated oak adding finesse. Cellar worthy.

Bringing out the rugged character of the Douro Superior, this wine has a dense texture, its wood aging revealed in the toast aroma. It has full, black fruits, concentrated, lifted with acidity. Drink from 2026. â Roger Voss

A sleek red, brimming with crushed mulberry, black raspberry and black cherry fruit as well as a fragrant overtone of mountain herbs and cracked pink peppercorn. There's a limber feel to the well-meshed, chewy tannins, and the fresh, fragrant finish shows lingering accents of sassafras root, blood orange peel and mineral.
